If you've remained in some form of contact with your ex, you might be wondering whether your ex still has feelings for you and perhaps if there's any hope you can get them back.
If you're looking for sure signs that your ex wants you back and you have a feeling it's not just wishful thinking on your part, here I've tried to outline a few things that's looking in the green in this department: #1 Your ex makes an effort to stay in contact.
When your ex consistently puts effort into keeping contact with you, that means they still care about you and think of you on a regular basis.
Their interest in your life shows that despite your romantic relationship not working out, they still hold you dear in their heart and wants to keep a close bond with you for the future.
#2 Your ex is still dependable when you're in dire trouble.
If you know your ex will put their life aside to help you if you're in dire trouble, it shows they still deeply care about you and they want you to be able to rely on them.
Of course this doesn't mean to say they should come running no matter what you call them for, but as long as its within reason, this is a big sign that despite the break up, they have a soft spot for you.
#3 Your ex talks about you in their future.
If your ex talks about their future and assumes you'll be a natural part role within it, it's a sign they still hold some possibility of having a relationship of you.
It might also mean they treasure your friendship and wants to remain friends in the long-run, but chances are good if you can be friends after a break up, you could get back together again also.
#4 Your ex is in no hurry to find someone new.
Not immediately running into the arms of someone new shows a maturity and also a disinterest in relationship altogether for now.
This sign by itself won't quite hold up but combined with the few points above it's a pretty good indication your ex still hasn't gotten over you yet.
Especially if the opportunity to date has crossed their paths and they showed no interest.
#5 Your ex is obtaining positive habits and changing their perspective.
This is a great sign especially if coupled with a few points above.
If they seem generally happy around you and still want to remain close friends, it shows they still want to share their life with you and treasure your relationship dearly.
They might subconsciously want to improve themselves to appear in a better light in front of you, but it's not always the case.
Nevertheless, if they're happy AND happy being with you, it's a good sign things could develop into more quite easily.
A thing to remember with these signs is that, alone they don't necessarily say a lot, but more of them combined will give a stronger argument of their true feelings for you.
Of course it depends on where you want to take this information.
On the one hand, if you want your ex back, to really know where you stand, it's best to be upfront and tell them.
On the other, if your relationship is fine the way it is, then why ruin it?
