Tim had decided to go to a party and his girlfriend, Jo could not go, so he decided to go anyway.
He ended up getting cosy with one of the girls there, and one of his so-called "mates" thought this was not on, and so told Jo about it.
The long and short of it was that Tim ended up being a dumped boyfriend.
Next time Tim came over Jo told him not to bother coming back.
She was furious, and she told him so.
Tim did not realise that he had done anything wrong, but he got it why Jo was so mad.
They were supposed to be going out together, which meant that they were not seeing other people.
But, one night, not really thinking about what he was doing, should not have ended an otherwise good relationship.
So Tim decided that he would get Jo back, but when you see what he does, you will see how he did everything wrong.
The next time Jo called, Tim tried desperately to get her to take him back.
He pleaded with her and kept saying over and over that he was sorry, but all he did was make her angrier.
Instead, he should have just apologized, and then allowed Jo time to think about things and cool off.
He continued to make things worse by hounding her.
Each day he would text her and called her on the phone several times a day, at all hours of the day and night.
He even sent her bunches of flowers at her work.
She kept telling him to stop bothering her, but Tim would not listen.
Then Jo stopped...
she did not reply to any of his texts, she would not take his calls and would not open the door to him.
He was going frantic! He even showed up one night and sang love songs by her bedroom window.
He had to be told to go home by the police, or be put in jail for the night.
Jo had called them, to get him removed from the property.
The first thing Tim did wrong was he did not give Jo time to cool off.
She had no time at all to think about whether she still wanted to be with him or not.
He did not give her time to remember the good times they had or to even miss being with him! Jo's dumped boyfriend made sure that she had no space to work through what had just happened.
The next thing Tim did was worse.
He decided to make Jo jealous by going out with other girls.
He decided to ask out one of Jo's friends who hardly ever dated.
When Jo found out about it she was livid, and the thing was, she knew why he was doing it.
She was mad at him for taking advantage of her friend, and at her friend for agreeing to go out with him.
When Tim found out Jo was going out with a new guy, he tried everything he could to split them up.
He even tried to make out this guy was not a patch on him when it came to making out.
Jo was totally disgusted with him by this time, and told him there was nothing else for it, she was over him, and they were never going to get back together again! Their relationship was over, but it needn't have been like this.
Jo would have forgiven Tim if he'd handled things differently.
Because he had behaved so badly, he lost her forever.
If you are a dumped boyfriend, whatever you do, do NOT do what Tim did.
