We've all heard the little chant "She loves me; she loves me not" done while picking petals off a flower in hopes that the last petal we pick indicates that she loves you.
While this may be a romantic notion, it's not likely to give you an accurate reading of how your ex really still feels about you.
However, there is a way to know your ex's feelings towards you and find your chances of getting your ex back.
Just like there are two sides to the flower picking tactic there are two levels of emotions-or feelings-your ex are likely to have in regards to you: indifference or passionate-which breaks down into love and hate on another level.
You're just going to have to see your ex's actions towards you to figure out where you stand on the emotional level.
You should be able to figure out if she just doesn't care anymore, or if there's still a hot ember ready to be stirred back into fire.
Communication is the key to all aspects of a relationship, especially in this vital part.
Open communication is your ex responding to your calls and messages or initiating contact herself.
Closed communication is when your ex really doesn't want to talk to you or have anything to do with you.
This usually means she's not calling you back or she's not initiating any contact.
Closed communication means you're more likely on the indifferent level.
Open communication, however, shows that your ex wants you back in his/her life, too-at least to some degree.
This definitely counts as a good sign because it shows he/she is still thinking about you.
Not to mention, your ex is showing he/she still cares about you, too.
This provides for great opportunities because there's still some firewood that could be rekindled when provided with the right encouragement.
