How to Remove Blueberry Stains From Carpet

    • 1). Fill a large bowl with 2 cups of warm water. Add 1 tbsp. of liquid dish detergent and gently mix it into the water.

    • 2). Dip a white cloth into the detergent mixture. Wring the cloth out so it's thoroughly moistened without dripping, and place it directly onto the blueberry stain.

    • 3). Dab the dampened cloth gently into the blueberry stain until the carpet completely absorbs the liquid. Dip the cloth back into the detergent mixture, and dab at the stain again until the blueberry stain is gone or at least lightened.

    • 4). Fill another large bowl with 2 cups of cold water, and add in 1 tbsp. of ammonia if the blueberry stain is still in the carpet. Dip another white cloth into the ammonia mixture, and lightly dab at the stain until the carpet soaks up the ammonia mixture and the blueberry stain is gone.

    • 5). Dampen a clean sponge with cold water. Dab at the wet spot with the sponge to absorb any of the remaining detergent or ammonia mixtures. Use a clean white cloth to gently dry up any excess liquid on the carpet.
