How to Get a Smoke Smell Out of a Couch

    • 1). Sprinkle a light dusting of baking soda over the couch.

    • 2). Work the baking soda into the couch with the soft nylon brush. Let the baking soda sit on the couch overnight.

    • 3). Follow up the next morning with a vacuum cleaner and suction up excess baking soda. Baking soda is a natural odor absorbent that will collect the odor and pull it out of the couch.

    • 4). Fill a spray bottle with white vinegar and mist your couch. This is another natural odor absorbent. When the smell of vinegar dissipates, it will take the smoke smell with it.
