- 1). Sweep the floors regularly with a broom to collect dirt and prevent small stones and crumbs from scratching the VCT.
- 2). Damp mop the floor regularly with a mop moistened slightly with warm water.
- 3). Pour 1 gallon of warm water and 1 squirt of dish soap into a cleaning bucket to make a cleaner that removes heavier residue. Pour 2 tsp. of vinegar into the bucket to add a disinfecting element for kitchen and dining room floors where raw foods are present.
- 4). Dip a mop in the bucket. Pull the mop out and wring out thoroughly.
- 5). Wipe the damp mop across the VCT flooring. Repeat until all of the VCT is clean. Allow it to air dry.
