- 1). Vacuum your Jeep's seats with a shop vacuum or commercial car vacuum. Vacuum two to three times per month to remove dust and debris that can cause wear.
- 2). Mix 4 cups hot water, 1/8 cup dishwasher soap and 1/2 cup vinegar in a bucket for general cleaning. Scrub fabric seats gently with the mixture. Don't soak the fabric. Repeat the process with clean, cool water to remove soap residue, which will attract dirt. Leave the doors open to speed up drying.
- 3). Apply leather cleaner to your leather seats with a clean white cloth. Use a soft brush or toothbrush to get into crevices, but brush gently so you don't scratch the leather. Rub all the cleaner off and apply a leather conditioner with a new white cloth to keep seats soft and supple.
- 1). Remove coffee and grease stains. Spray coffee and grease stains with glass cleaner and blot with a white cloth. Rinse with warm water and blot again.
- 2). Clean up carsickness stains. Scrape up any solid material with a paint scraper or knife. Mix 1/2 cup baking soda with 1 cup warm water to make a thick paste. Apply the paste and allow it to sit for 30 minutes to neutralize the acid in the vomit. Scrape the paste off and clean the stain as you would for general cleaning. If an odor remains, sprinkle borax on the stain and wait one hour. Vacuum the borax up. Use this method on the carpet, as well.
- 3). Remove ink stains. Apply a few drops of isopropyl alcohol with an eye dropper. Flush the stain with nail polish remover. Blot with a clean white cloth. Rinse with warm water, but don't soak the fabric.
