How to Add Transmission Oil

    • 1). Locate the dipstick in the transmission. It will be located towards the back of the engine and be labeled.

    • 2). Remove the dipstick, and wipe it clean with a paper towel. Reinsert it into the transmission.

    • 3). Remove the dipstick again, and check the level of transmission fluid residue. The markings on the dipstick will tell you how much transmission fluids to be replaced.

    • 4). Add a funnel to the transmission, and pour in the required amount of transmission fluid.

    • 5). Re-insert the dipstick, and check the level again. If it is still low, repeat Step 4.

    • 6). Replace the dipstick and cap.
