- 1). Remove the inside door handle trim. Place a small screwdriver inside the trim piece and pry away from the door.
- 2). Remove the door trim panel.
- 3). Remove the window crank, if your car is equipped with manual windows. Move the crank back and forth quickly while putting away from the door until the retaining clip dislodges.
- 4). Remove the armrest retaining screws.
- 5). Pry the door trim retainers away from the door trim.
- 6). Remove the rest of the door panel. Use a putty knife to loosen the door trim panel clips from the door. After loosening all of the clips from the door, disconnect the electrical connections to completely remove the panel.
- 7). Pull the water shield off the door.
- 8). Remove the door glass. Remove the two bolts that mount the glass to the regulator, located toward the bottom of the window. Pull the glass up from the door and pull the glass from the track and away from the door. If the mounting bolts are not present, raise the door glass and regulator so they are visible through the hole.
- 9). Remove the inside door panel frame. Loosen and remove the mounting nuts and bolts.

Remove the weatherstripping. Pull away from the door to get the clips to break free from the door. - 11
Remove the nuts holding the regulator in place. One is located at the top-middle of the inside door panel, one is located on the bottom-middle of the inside door panel, the third one mounts the motor (if equipped with power windows) to the panel on the right side of the door. Once the nuts are removed, pull the regulator through the hole once covered by the inside door panel. - 1). Place the new regulator through the hole in the door and line up the mounting bolt locations on the door. Tighten the mounting bolts to hold the regulator in place. Reconnect any electrical connectors you removed from the old regulator.
- 2). Replace the inside frame to the door panel and tighten the nuts and bolts that hold it in place.
- 3). Replace the glass back into the door and replace the two bolts mounting the glass to the regulator.
- 4). Replace the weatherstripping by pushing the clips back into the appropriate holes.
- 5). Pull up the water shield and stick it back onto the inside of the door.
- 6). Reconnect the electrical connections to the door trim panel and replace the door panel. Fit the clips on the panel back into the holes on the door. Push in the retaining clips.
- 7). Replace the armrest retaining screws and replace the door handle trim. If equipped with standard windows, replace the window crank.
