How to Replace a Center Seatbelt

    • 1). Enter the rear of your vehicle and locate the set of mounting bolts on the side of the seat which fix the belt in place. You can find the bolts on the opposite side to that of the seat belt lock.

    • 2). Use an adjustable wrench to remove the bolts which hold the seat belt in place. Place the bolts in a safe area as you will need to reattach them when installing the new belt. Lift the center seat belt away from the seat.

    • 3). Lift the new center seat belt on to the middle seat. Fix the seat belt in place by attaching the mounting bolts to fix the seat belt to the middle seat.

    • 4). Test to make sure the seat belt is installed correctly by pulling the seat belt slightly to check that the bolts are fixed in place correctly.

    • 5). Connect the seat belt buckle to the seat belt lock to make sure that it can reach and secure correctly.
