- 1). Turn the larger sheet of construction paper horizontally and fold in half, to create a greeting card that measures 6 1/4 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches tall.
- 2). Turn the smaller sheet of construction paper horizontally and fold in half, to create a greeting card that measures 5 inches wide by 3 1/8 inches tall.
- 3). Cut out a picture that is 6 1/4 inches wide and between 5 to 8 inches tall. Don't cut a straight line along the top of the picture, instead, cut around the top outline of the image.
- 4). Open the small card and place it face (inside) down so that it is a flat piece with a fold down its center.
- 5). Glue the picture (using the glue stick) onto the back of the opened small card, positioning it so that a portion goes over the top edge of the card.
- 6). Refold the small card so that the picture is on the outside the card.
- 7). Open the large card and place it before you, inside up.
- 8). Place the small card (with the picture) inside the larger opened card, face down. The folds of the cards should be pointing in opposite directions. For example, the fold of the large card should point down, and the fold of the small card should point up.
- 9). Tape the left side of the smaller card onto the interior left side of the large card, about 3 inches from the fold of the larger card. Position the top of both cards so that they are parallel to each other.

Tape the right side of the smaller card onto the interior of the right side of the large card, about 3 inches from the fold of the larger card. When you close the card, the smaller card should disappear into the larger card. Yet, when you open the large card, the smaller card should pop out.
