- 1). Pry the window and lock switch plate from the Aurora's door panel with a trim tool. Turn the plate over and unplug each switch from the wiring harness by hand. Set the switches and plate aside.
- 2). Remove the Aurora's hex-head door panel retention screws using a socket set. Put all the screws together with the switches.
- 3). Pry the Aurora's door panel off the door with a trim tool. Lift the panel upward, then take it completely off the door by hand to expose the interior access holes.
- 4). Raise the window, by hand, to the top of the door. Anchor the window glass to the top of the Aurora's door using packing tape.
- 5). Remove the two bolts holding the Aurora's broken window regulator to the window glass using your socket set. Unbolt the window motor from the regulator and then unbolt the regulator from the door mounts.
- 6). Collapse the broken regulator manually before pulling it out of the door through the large access hole. Slide the new regulator into the Aurora's door by hand.
- 7). Bolt the Aurora's new window regulator to the door mounts, window motor and window glass with your socket set. Replace the Aurora's door panel by reversing the steps used to remove it. Remove all the packing tape when done.
