How to Replace the Instrument Lights on a 1995 Blazer

    • 1). Prop open the Blazer's hood and shut off the engine. Remove the negative cable off the Blazer's battery using a socket wrench.

    • 2). Position the Blazer's steering wheel as low as it can go. Remove the two retainment bolts above the Blazer's instrument panel.

    • 3). Remove the two retainment bolts holding the Blazer's instrument panel to the vehicle. Pull up on the upper dash trim and pull the Blazer's instrument panel out. Be sure to reach behind the panel and disconnect the plug.

    • 4). Rotate the desired bulbs to the left and pull them off the instrument panel. Install the replacement 194-type bulbs by turning them to the right until they "lock." Reassemble the Blazer's instrument panel and connect the battery. Close the hood.
