- 1). Remove the stained clothing and wash under running cold water. Scrub the affected areas for a few minutes to loosen any dirt and pepper spray particles from the clothing.
- 2). Apply a small amount of laundry detergent to the stain and scrub vigorously for a few minutes. Rinse the affected area under running cold water and wring out. If the stain was removed using the detergent, place the clothing in the dryer or leave it to air dry. If the pepper stain stain is still visible, go to the next step.
- 3). Scrub the stained area with a laundry stain remover stick or spray for one minute or according to the directions on the packaging. You can purchase laundry remover sticks or sprays at any drug store or home improvement store.
- 4). Place the clothing in the dryer after completely removing the pepper stain or leave it to air dry.
