How to Reset a Panasonic Phone

    • 1). Unplug the power cord from the base. Remove the telephone line from the base.

    • 2). Remove the battery cover from the back of the cordless handset. This can be done by sliding the cover downward, or pressing the release latch and pulling the cover outward, depending on the Panasonic cordless phone model.

    • 3). Remove the battery pack from the phone by lifting it out of the battery bay. Leave everything disconnected for one minute.

    • 4). Reinsert the battery pack. Place the battery cover over the battery bay.

    • 5). Reinsert the telephone line and power cord into the base. The phone system has now been reset.
