How to Install DishPro LNBs

    • 1). Loosen the two screws on the side of the LNB module (low noise amplifier block) that is on the far end of the lateral support pole attached to the front of the Dish Pro satellite dish--use a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the LNB module off the end of the pole. Unscrew the end of the coaxial cable attached to the LNB.

    • 2). Place the LNB on one of the two rods extruding from the side of the LNB extension bracket. Lightly screw in the screws on the side of the LNB with the Phillips screwdriver to secure it to the bracket. Place a dual LNB module on the other rod. Lightly screw in the screws on its side also.

    • 3). Place the LNB extension bracket on the pole in place of the LNB that was removed earlier. Tighten the screws on the bracket with the Phillips screwdriver to secure the two together.

    • 4). Rotate the single and dual LNB modules so that their fronts face towards the center of the dish. Tighten the screws with pliers.

    • 5). Screw the end of the coaxial cable that was connected to the LNB into the first coax output on the satellite multi-switch. Tighten the coaxial cable's end with a pliers.

    • 6). Screw an end of a 3-foot coaxial cable into the coax output on the single LNB. Screw an end of two 3-foot coaxial cables into the two coax outputs on the dual LNB module.

    • 7). Screw the free end of the 3-foot coaxial cables into the first three coax inputs on the satellite multi-switch--the switch's inputs are on the opposite side of the outputs. Tighten the coaxial cable's ends with the pliers.

    • 8). Place the satellite multi-switch against the side of the Dish Pro's bracket. Affix the switch to the bracket with duct tape or a plastic tie.

    • 9). Unscrew the coaxial cable from the coax input on the back of the receiver. Screw the end of the coaxial cable into the coax input on the coax adapter. Screw an end of two 1-foot coaxial cables into the two coax outputs on the coax adapter. Screw the free ends of the two coaxial cables into the two coax inputs on the back of the receiver.
