- 1). Place the camera tripod on a flat surface.
- 2). Remove the set screw from the top platform of the camera tripod by turning it counterclockwise with a pair of pliers. The set screw is typically located in the center of the top platform on the tripod.
- 3). Lay your metal plate on a flat surface.
- 4). Drill a hole in the center of the metal plate. This will be for accepting the set screw of the tripod.
- 5). Spread a layer of bonding glue to the metal plate.
- 6). Attach the satellite dish mounting bracket to the metal plate. Place the bottom of the bracket in the bonding glue. Line up the hole of the bracket with the hole in the metal plate. Press the bracket into the glue. Allow the glue to dry for the recommended amount of time on the glue's packaging.
- 7). Spread bonding glue on the surface of the tripod platform.
- 8). Attach the metal plate with the mounting bracket to the platform. Place the metal plate on the platform with the bracket facing upward. Line up the holes of the bracket and the metal plate with the hole for the set screw in the platform. Press the plate into the glue on the platform. Allow the glue to dry for the recommended amount of time on the glue's packaging.
- 9). Insert the set screw of the platform through the satellite mounting bracket, the metal plate and the tripod platform. Tighten it in place by turning it clockwise with pliers.

Install the dish on the tripod. Loosen and remove all of the screws on the satellite bracket by turning them counterclockwise with a pair of pliers. Place the plate on the bottom of the satellite's mounting pole on the bracket. Insert and tighten the bracket screws to hold the dish securely to the tripod. - 11
Place your tripod and dish in a location that will clearly receive a signal.
