- 1). Insert the recovery disk into your computer.
- 2). Click "My Computer." Click "Tools," open "Folder Options," click on the "View" tab, check the box to "Show Hidden Files," and uncheck the box to "Hide Protected Files."
- 3). Right-click on your desktop and create a "New" "Folder." Name it "Recovery CD."
- 4). Drag and drop all files on the recovery disk to your "Recovery CD" folder.
- 5). Open your boot image extractor program and select the drive letter of your CD drive. Copy the ISO file that appears to the "Recovery CD" directory.
- 6). Open your CD burning program and select the option to create a "Boot CD." Set the boot image file to the "ISO" file extracted during step five and burn the entire contents of the "Recovery CD" directory to disk.
