How to Repair a LAN Connection for a Laptop

    • 1). Click "Start."

    • 2). Click "Settings."

    • 3). Click "Control Panel."

    • 4). Open "Network Connections."

    • 5). Right-click on the icon that is labeled "Local Area Connection" and click on the "Repair" option. The Windows operating system on your laptop computer will now repair your LAN connection. When the process is finished, a dialog box will pop up on screen to tell you the process is complete.
