- 1). Remove the NiCad battery from the electrical device. The battery cover usually slides or simply unclips. So use your fingers to open it and remove the battery.
- 2). Charge the battery. Insert the battery into a NiCad battery charger. Close the cover, then turn on the charger. An illuminated light confirms your NiCad battery is charging.
- 3). Turn off the charger after the charger indicator light goes out.
- 4). Remove the battery from the charger. Open the charger cover, and take out the battery.
- 5). Return the battery to the electrical device. Put it in place, and then close the battery cover. Either slide the cover shut or push the cover so it clips into place.
- 6). Turn on the electrical device. It should work again.
