How to Capture With a VCR

    • 1). Plug the antenna source into the threaded RF (Radio Frequency) port labeled "Antenna In" on the VCR. This step still applies if you use a cable wire for your antenna source.

    • 2). Plug one end of a coaxial cable into the the RF port on the back of the TV, then plug the other end of the cable into the RF port labeled "Antenna Out" on the VCR.

    • 3). Plug the VCR's power cord into an electrical wall outlet. Turn the power on the VCR and insert a blank VHS video cassette tape into the VCR. Turn the TV on and set it to channel 3. Set the channel on the VCR to the channel you want to watch from the TV, then press the "Record" button. Do not change the channel while recording. Press the "Stop" button on the VCR to end the recording session.
