How to be a positive person?

1. Count your blessings. Make a list of what you are grateful for, big or small. Set a certain number (such as 100) to cheer you up. You must write down everything before reaching this target. You can remember more when you focus your mind on it!

2. Notice little unexpected things. Give special attention to something that we seldom see, such as the facial expressions of playing children, the singing birds flying over your head, or breeze off your face.

3. Be grateful for what you have. It is a true and reliable way to make you feel better. Sometimes, people may desire something else when they have possessed something. However, we shall feel gratified for what we have at any given moments.

4. Help someone else. Put down your ego and personal requirements. Be ready to help others at all times. In addition, doing others a favor can give us motivation to create a beautiful world for everyone. Research has confirmed that helping others can benefit us a lot in health and well-being.

5. Decide to be happy today. This is very simple as long as you make changes. Actively try to be positive and be friendly to others. Be grateful for your efforts and optimism.

6. Smile at a stranger, and make two people happy. Smile is a time-tested way to make one more optimistic. Your brain thinks you feel better even if you fake it until you make it or you can't feel it. It is win-win that one can feel more positive when he sees others smiling.

7. Read positive news. Actively look for positive news around the world, such as the websites where report positive news and viewpoints.

8. Set a small goal, and get it done. Choose something simple, fast and fun. Even small chores could be. Make a list and leave then out as you do them. Thus you can feel the joys of every success!

9. Remember that everything is an opportunity. It could be your viewpoint, your reaction to a situation, your attitude toward people and events, and almost anything else. Bid change requires careful consideration. They also are your choices, because your destiny is in your hands.

10. Get close to nature. Go out for a walk and enjoy the gift from nature, or deeply feel what is happening in the outside world every day. It can remind us that we're all in this journey together. Small creatures have great wisdom, so we can refocus appreciation and gratitude.
