Many people do not have a clue on how to get six pack abs fast.
Everybody is off doing hundreds of crunches a day or buying expensive ab equipment just so it gathers up dust in the den.
Here is how to really get six pack abs.
1) Stop doing basic crunches.
By doing crunches on the floor you are straining your neck and you are robbing your body because they are not effective at all.
Instead do effective ab exercises.
2) Add reverse crunches into your workout.
These are more effective and have no strain on your back and neck.
Just make sure you do them properly.
Simply lie down on the floor with your legs up in the air and your knees bent at 90 degrees.
Then bring your knees back so they touch your chest.
That is one rep.
3) Clean up your diet.
Avoid junk food like sweets and white carbs.
Eat clean foods like lean meats, fruits, vegetables, and nuts.
These kinds of foods really help your body lose fat and start building muscle especially around the stomach.
4) Drink water.
Replace any sugary juice or soda with water and right away you will being washing away your gut before you know it.
For every cup you drink you burn about 8 calories of pure fat.
Aim to drink about 8 glasses a day.
5) Do not just focus on ab exercises.
To be perfectly honest getting six pack abs is not just about doing some reverse crunches and eating right.
If you are serious about it and want to look like a fitness model then you must do compound exercises.
Exercises like squats, chin ups, chest presses, shoulder presses, rows, and deadlifts are all powerful fat burners.
They build muscle all over the body because they work most of your body.
They burn belly fat way more than just doing ab exercises.
But they do no target your abs directly which is why you need variety.
So an ideal six pack abs program would have it all; a clean diet, ab exercises, compound exercises, and even cardio.
Eat clean foods most of the time and you can have some junk food for a break.
Do 3 full body workouts with 4-6 compound exercises like the ones mentioned above.
Add 1 or 2 ab exercises like reverse crunches and the plank.
On the days in between do some light cardio like walking or jogging for a half hour.
Then you will have six pack abs within a couple of months.
