How to Remove McAfee Messages

    • 1). Click on the "Start" button in the lower left-hand corner of your computer screen.

    • 2). Click on "Programs."

    • 3). Open McAfee Security Center.

    • 4). Click on the "Configure" button in the bottom right-hand corner of the window.

    • 5). Click on "Updates."

    • 6). Click "Disable automatic updating and and let me manually check for updates."

    • 7). Click "OK." This permanently removes messages from McAfee.
