Level Your Hunter Fast With Marksmanship

I remember the first time I became a Night Elf to learn Priest skills, and all the others made fun of me.
It took me awhile to figure it out, but everywhere I turned there was an NE Hunter running around in Darnassus.
So out of curiosity I deleted the Priest and tried to figure what all the hoopla was about surrounding this class.
Once I figured out how to get the perfect build, it all came together.
While the Beast Mastery and Survival trees can be helpful during the early stages, you'll want to concentrate on the Marksmanship abilities.
The main goal here is to work your way down the list and max out with the Chimera Shot.
This ability is sick (in a good way), since it gives off a 125% weapon damage.
Add in the extra boost to all your Sting effects (Serpent, Viper, Scorpion) and your enemies will be at a huge disadvantage.
Even though this is the most exciting ability on the tree, there are others that are very important to utilize.
In fact, there are a ton of them and to list everything would take forever.
So this time around I'm going to give you a list of things you should skip over during your building process and not even worry about unless you want them.
Lethal Shot (0/5) Go for the Throat (0/2) Efficiency (0/5) Combat Experience (0/2) Wild Quiver (0/3) It's important to place 4/5 in the Marked for Death under the Marksmanship tree.
This will leave you with a total of 11 points to play with in the Survival and Beast Mastery section, which will be important for the list below.
One thing to understand is you can change this to your own specifications, but I found that this combination can be quite effective when trying to level faster.
Hawkeye (3/3)- Having this ability full will allow you to gain 6 yards on the range of all your ranged weapons.
Improved Aspect of the Hawk (5/5)- if you spend 5 points here you will have the opportunity to increase your range speed by 15%.
I'm not a big fan of having a "chance" to do anything, but the IAH seems to happen more than the 10% of the time WoW suggests.
It will last for 12 seconds when activated.
Thick Hide (3/3)- Since you aren't focusing on your pet very much, using the Thick Hide ability is helpful for your armor.
Your pet will gain a 20% increase in armor and you will gain 10% of all the equipment your wearing that increases armor.
Knowing this, I suggest hitting up an item Enhancement in the AH for 220 or more armor attached to your Chest piece.
Then of course the Glove Reinforcements (+240).
I noticed after talking with several Hunters that many of them never realize the chance to wear Mail armor.
Once you hit around level 40 you can travel to Ironforge and train for Mail armor.
If you thought leather working was good, wait until you throw on a few greenies and bluzies in the Mail area.
Putting everything together I talked about today will have you leveling from level 40-80 in record times.
Good luck.
