- With its screen flipped down, in the closed position, the LG U370C has approximate dimensions of 1.85 inches wide by 0.69 inches deep by 3.64 inches high. Including its battery, the U370C weighs approximately 3.14 oz. (about a fifth of a pound).
- The LG U370C uses a thin film transistor (TFT) display screen, which is an active-matrix variety of liquid crystal display (LCD). Unlike a standard LCD, a TFT uses individual transistors for illuminating each of its onscreen pixels. The U370C's TFT screen has a diagonal size of two inches and a maximum display resolution of 176 horizontal lines of pixels by 220 vertical lines. The screen has a color depth of 18 bits, which is a reference to how many binary digits the screen uses to represent the color of a single pixel. Using its 18-bit color depth, the U370C's screen can create 256,000 colors. Apart from its primary screen, described above, the U370C also has an external monochromatic---or black-and-white---screen that activates when the smartphone is closed. This screen has a display resolution of 96 horizontal lines of pixels by 64 vertical lines.
- For storing contact information, call information and other user data, the LG U370C has 60MB of internal memory. Using this internal memory the smartphone can store up to 30 missed calls, 30 dialed calls and 30 received calls. In addition to providing internal memory, the U370C is compatible with removable microSD flash memory cards. Buying and installing one of these cards allows a user to expand the smartphone's memory.
- The LG U370C has one integrated digital camera. This camera can capture still images using a maximum resolution of 1.3 megapixels, or 1.3 million pixels. More specifically, the U370C can store images with a maximum size of 1,280 horizontal lines of pixels by 1,024 vertical lines.
- For providing voice services, such as incoming and outgoing calls, the LG U370C uses second-generation (2G) Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) cellular technology. Specifically, the U370C is compatible with the 900, 1800 and 1900 GSM frequency bands. For uploading and downloading Internet data packets, the U370C can use the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) as well as the High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) third-generation (3G) protocols.
