- 1). Select "adjust image" in Photoshop and select "Auto" for the highlights and shadows.
- 2). Use the middle slider to adjust the midtones. Most frequently, the image will need to be lightened by sliding the bar to the left.
- 3). Zoom the image and select "Sharpen" and then "Unsharp Mask" from the Filter menu.
- 4). Set your dots per inch (DPI) setting as high as possible when you print. The higher the DPI setting, the more fine the print will be.
