How to Trim the Fabric for an Inner Corner

    • 1). Lay the fabric against the inner corner of the wall or other obstacle.

    • 2). Pinch the fabric against the corner with one of your hands, and mark the bottom edges of the fabric that lie against the corner with the marker. This tells you how much fabric must be removed for it to fit inside the corner.

    • 3). Cut along the marker lines you just made with the mat knife. Place the fabric aside.

    • 4). Lay the fabric you just cut against the inner corner; it should now fit snugly into the corner, and you can properly attach it.

    • 5). Attach the fabric to its surface with glue, a hammer and nails, or a staple gun and staples.
