- 1). Bend the edge of the metal up for 1 1/4 inches around the edge, using a pair of pliers. Wear leather gloves to protect your hands as you work with this metal.
- 2). Take the sheet of expanded metal mesh and cut the sheet of foam insulation so that it barely covers the inside of the mesh on the "inside" surfaces to form the frame for the panel. Place the shiny Mylar side of the foam sheet on the side away from the expanded metal mesh.
- 3). Lay the tubing on top of the foam so that 1 foot of tubing hangs over the side of the panel. Unwind the hose so that it goes down the length of the panel toward the edge at the far end. Use twist ties to attach the tubing to the wire on the Mylar side of the foam by poking a hole through the foam and zip-tying the tubing to the metal mesh. Use zip ties every 6 inches until you get to within 1 inch of the edge.
- 4). At the open end of the tube, cut a hole in the mesh with wire cutters that is barely big enough for the hose to fit through. Cut the foam away at this hole as well. Slip the tube through the hole.
- 5). Turn the hose at the other end without letting it pinch shut. An inch away from the tubing next to it, run the tube parallel to the far end. Zip-tie it down every 6 inches and at the loop on the end. Repeat the process with the tubes in columns 1 inch apart until you finish a column within 2 inches of the end.
- 6). Run the remaining tube out the end, making a hole at the opposite corner as the first hole that the tube enters the box through. Use spray foam insulation around the hoses to make sure they don't contact the metal where they emerge from the holes in the mesh.
- 7). Cut the XXL Ziplock bag open at the side seams to make a flat sheet. Zip-tie the plastic "zipper" at the ends to the mesh so that the plastic is pulled straight and somewhat tight.
- 8). Straighten the hangers out. At one free edge of the sides of the bag, roll plastic over a hanger a few times. Poke a small hole in the plastic by the hanger at increments of 2 inches. Use the zip ties to strap the hanger to the mesh so that the hanger reinforces the edge of the bag. Do the same on the other side. Fill in gaps with spray foam.
- 9). Drill holes just big enough for the tubes to slide into the 5-gallon bucket. One hole should be drilled just below the top of the water line, and the other should be drilled low in the bucket. Use Gorilla PVC glue to seal around the tubing. Use the rest of the foam sheet you cut earlier to insulate the bucket by gluing it on.
