France is an excellent choice to go on vacation at. Many people who opt to go to France only know of Paris and all of its attractions. Unfortunately sometimes spending the entire vacation in Paris, France is just not enough and for these occasions, here are some great choices in French attractions.

For starters, while you are in Paris, you will need to stop and check out the Les Carrières de Paris which are catacombs that date back to the 5th arrondissement. However if you choose to go on the tour, you will only be taken back as far as the 14th. These catacombs are the final resting place for over 6 million French citizens.

You cannot stop in Paris for a single day without making your way to the Eiffel Tower. Most people when visiting France will arrive in Paris and while there are a number of great things to do in Paris, you should spend your time accordingly and only allow for a few days exploring the city before visiting another.

Don’t forget to check out the Basilique du Sacre Coeur or the Notre Dame de Paris before you leave the city though. Both of these locations are great choices and a must see for anyone who has never before set foot in France.

Spend as much time in France as you can to look at all of the priceless art collections which can be found in galleries all across the nation. These art galleries and museum can be found just about anywhere and even many castles and chateaushave their own privately owned collection on display for all to see.

Just don’t forget to spend at least one day at Disney because let’s face it, no vacation would be complete without a Disney attraction. Most of all, bring all of the rolls of film that you can carry because you will want to save every moment of France that you can and share it with all of your friends and family members.
