- 1). Tighten up the antenna cable connection to the TV. Secure the TV's cable connection to the wall terminal that leads outside.
- 2). Angle the antenna in a different direction, or change the height of the antenna to try to prevent it from picking up reflected signals.
- 3). Try an outdoor eight-way bow tie, ultra-high frequency (UHF) antenna if you live in a suburban area or near mountains, tall buildings or tall trees. Purchase a four-way bow tie UHF antenna if you live in a metropolitan area. Contact a professional electrician to have it installed correctly and obtain a warranty for the work performed.
- 4). Replace your indoor antenna with a highly-directional antenna or all-combination antenna. Choose an antenna that can clearly receive signals from the most distant UHF station you want to watch.
- 5). Use a remote control antenna rotator to angle the antenna when signals cross paths and ghosting occurs. Antenna rotators can be found at TV antenna reception stores locally and online.
