- 1). Unplug the clippers from the wall.
- 2). Remove all the hair from the blades. This can be accomplished by blowing on the blades and then wiping them off with a soft cloth.
- 3). Dip a cotton ball into a small bowl of rubbing alcohol.
- 4). Rub the clipper blades with the cotton ball. Cover the entire area thoroughly until there is no residue remaining.
- 5). Allow the blades to dry completely before using the clippers again, or before storing them away.
