- 1). Take an acne medication that contains salicylic acid. This is found in many toners and medicated face wipes. Rub the product containing salicylic acid on your heels. The salicylic acid is an exfoliate that will help to soften your heels.
- 2). When your heels dry, take some petroleum jelly or a lotion that is mostly petroleum jelly, and massage it into your heels.
- 3). Once the Petroleum jelly is rubbed in, take a pair of comfortable cotton socks and put them on.
- 4). Leave the socks on all night while you sleep.
- 5). Repeat the process for a few weeks until your heels reach the desired softness.
