House centipedes have got to be one of the ugliest creatures that Mother nature has ever created! But, they do have a purpose on this Earth.
Like all homeowners, I just wish that purpose wasn't in my house! But you don't have to suffer in silence with these insects.
They are some very good ways to exterminate them! Let's go over some of the most common: 1.
Boric Acid - Boric acid has been used for generations to get rid of all kinds of insects.
It has been known to kill ants, cockroaches, silverfish, termites and house centipedes.
It attacks the insect on two levels.
It acts as a stomach poison if ingested, and it's abrasive to the insects exoskeleton.
2.
Dehumidifiers - Why a dehumidifier? These centipedes like to live in areas that are wet, damp and humid.
They prefer this type of environment because they dehydrate very easily in places without enough moisture to sustain them.
Having a dehumidifier in the home will dry up all of the wet places where they like to hang out.
3.
Exterminator - Exterminators are a very good option.
Not only will they kill the house centipede.
The exterminator will destroy whatever other unknown insect infestation that you might have.
As you can see, you have some very good options available to you.
So you shouldn't have an excuse as to why these nasty little things are still in your home.
But, this centipede, like all insects are resilient.
They will find away in and out of your home.
Because in reality, your fight isn't really against them.
You're fighting the other insects who they have come to kill! That's right! Exterminating house centipedes is the last of your worries if you have seen these bugs in your home.
They are really not there to bother you.
Believe it or not, you have a bigger problem in your home if you have been noticing these little creatures!
