How To Remove Bedbugs

My twelve-year-old niece had pimples on her face and her mom took her to the hospital, as she was worried that it could be an underlying health problem and after three visits and the doctor could not find anything wrong with her, it became a persistent issue.
Moms cannot sleep well if their children are in danger and when she went to check on her daughter at night, what she saw made her almost jump out of her skin. There were bedbugs on her daughters' face! Bedbugs not only look bad but also cause infections through the bites that they cause as they suck blood from a person, so then how do you get rid of Bed Bug Bites?

Bedbugs are more attracted to wood and clothing material in the bed and you should check thoroughly to ensure that they are not in the cracks and corners of the bed and if you find them then take the following steps to eliminate them.
  • Dismantle the bed. The blankets and sheets should be laundered in very high temperature and this will kill them instantly. Take the mattress outside and let it sit in the sun for a few hours.
  • Avoid using spray insecticide, as this will only scatter them instead apply Gel and powder insecticide to the bed cracks and corners, glue the wallpaper that may be loose as this is very fertile ground where bedbugs lay their eggs.
  • Use tapes around furniture to cover any openings that the bugs may hide in especially in drawers around the bedroom.
  • Remove any items that you have stored under the bed, as this is where the bedbugs will run to hide when you go to exterminate them.
  • Pouring rubbing alcohol on them kills them but you have to get them directly before they scatter.
  • Avoid bringing in second hand furniture or clothing as it may have bedbugs hiding in the seams and bedbugs can stay for up to three months without food.
  • If you store furniture in the warehouse, bedbugs can transfer from other items stored together so you should get rid of the bedbugs before moving the furniture back into your house.
  • Even though you do not find the bugs, check out for the brown eggs that can fail to die by the above methods and will hatch out into fresh healthy living bedbugs. Use a flashlight to see clearly, where they are hiding in the cracks.
  • Carpets are also healthy breeding ground for the bugs so if you have floor to ceiling carpeting through checking is necessary and tape applied in the relevant cracks.
  • After you have done the above wait for two weeks and check again if you have bedbugs in the bedroom. If you still find them then it will be necessary to get rid of the mattress, as this is the biggest bearer of the bugs.
  • If all fails, admit defeat and get a professional terminator to do the necessary because this can become a recurring menace.

The greatest problem with bedbugs is that they can move from one apartment to another so continuous monitoring is necessary.
