How to Hang a Storage Hammock

    • 1). Measure the length of the storage hammock. This will help you determine the proper location of the hammock itself as well as the hooks that will hold it in place.

    • 2). Find a suitable location for the hammock, based on your initial measurement. Choose a convenient height for the storage hammock, then mark a spot in the corner where two walls of the room meet.

    • 3). Tape one end of the storage hammock to the spot you marked on the wall, then stretch the hammock out toward the opposite wall. You can also ask a friend to hold one end of the hammock against the wall while you determine the best spot on the opposite wall.

    • 4). Mark the other wall in the spot where the end of the storage hammock will hang. Drill a small starter hole in that spot as well as the first one you marked. Insert the hanging hooks that came with the storage hammock and screw them into the walls. Ensure that the hooks face up so you can hang the hammock properly.

    • 5). Slide one end of the storage hammock over the first hanging hook. Stretch the hammock out and slide the other end over the second hanging hook. Fill your storage hammock with the items you want to store.
