Billy Ray was born and raised in Flatlands, KY. He's probably best known for his line-dancing single, "Achy Breaky Heart," from his debut album, "Some Gave All." He's released several albums since then, and has recently forayed into acting, with the starring role in "Doc," on the PAX network.
