I have spent my whole life trying to be right.
Not really trying to be saved, but actually being right, according to everybody I know standards or, the way I was taught to believe.
As important as it is to be right with God, is to stay right with God.
What I believe and been taught has little to do with that.
Nickodiemus ask Jesus what I must do to be saved, his reply was very simple, and he said "YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.
" I spent most of my life unsaved, because I could not believe I could live up to all what I had been taught, for I was in bondage up to my neck, I was truly in a horrible pit.
And wound up with a nervous breakdown at the age of 35.
I now know that you have to be born again, and that Jesus will free you from any place you are and make you a new creature in Christ.
Now I have a choice if I want to sin or live right.
Being righteous is living right, a right relationship with Christ.
It's the nature of men and women to want to be right.
If you want to see if they are Christians or not just, tell them they are wrong.
I believe it stirs up the sin of pride in us, which is not a statement of faith, in most religions.
When we really find Jesus and are truly born again it creates a desire in us to live RIGHT, not to BE right, and believe there is a difference.
I wonder why it is so hard for Christians much less sinners to admit they are wrong.
Why is it not more important to live Right then to be right? I really believe pride is going to be the cause of many people going to hell, and just think; surely it is not that important to be right.
I have a goal that I intend to achieve and that is to make heaven my home, and being right is not that important to me any more, but rather to LIVE RIGHT, he said I will lead and guide you into all truth, and believe he will.
LIVING RIGHT, AND BEING AN EXAMPLE IS THE ONLY THING THAT IS GOING TO COUNT, when we stand before Jesus, and how many souls have we won him.
