How is it possible that a psychic can see my future, but I can't? Why aren't we all able to visualize what our destiny is, or what is going to happen in our own lives, rather than having a stranger see it for us?
Believe it or not, this kind of question is a pretty common one. Many people get frustrated that things that are happening in their own lives, while predicted or prognosticated by a psychic or intuitive, are NOT so easily seen by them. Many people often extend that to wonder if psychics are actually able to apply the same sort of wisdom to their OWN lives as well, or are they only able to get a glimpse into the future fate of strangers?
Here is my take on it:
As someone who has studied psychic readings for 20 years, both personally and professionally alike, I DO believe that each of us has the power and potential to visualize our own future.
As a matter of fact, at least on some level, science has already PROVEN this using precognition tests. (and while it's beyond the scope of this article a bit, a recent controversial report published by leading statistician (and skeptic) Darryl Bem, PROVED that people do know what's going to happen before it does, in a surprising... but statistically significant way)
You already KNOW what your future holds, and intuitively (and instinctively) your life purpose is really all about learning to listed to that inner guidance and wisdom and make the very best decisions for your own growth, learning and development.
A good psychic?
They aren't as invested, emotionally, in YOUR outcomes. So they are able to pierce through the protective layers of emotional walls most of us put up, that separate us from our psychic side.
A good psychic uses parts of his or her brain that most people don't. It doesn't mean you don't have them. It just means you haven't worked to develop to them to the same degree.
It's very similar to art, or music, or math. Some people start playing the piano at 5, and continue to do it for 50 years.
Others never play more than a few fingers jingles at the annual Christmas party.
Both were "born" with the potential to play the piano, though... right?
One just refined, developed and practiced tapping into their talent.
The other let it sit, inactivated and it's pure potential was never realized.
This may sound simplistic, but this is truly how I believe psychic abilities work.
They are a glimmer and a glimpse into an unseen world of power, potential, magic and mystery.
Some embrace that....
Others ignore it.
And while some may be born a bit more special than others... (i.e. - we're all not going to a Mozart, or Nostradamus) like all great gifts the universe has to offer those who open their hearts and minds, you TOO can "wake up", whenever you want!
