The Promises and the Responsibilities Go Hand in Hand

When God moves in a man's life it does last, but it has to begin at some point, and the person has to persevere.
God promises He will never leave us nor forsake us, and it is impossible for God to break His promises.
Down through the centuries men have experienced and proved that real faith in the risen and living Jesus lasts, and it is not just one's testimony which is relevant, important though that is, but we have it all recorded in God's authoritative authentic word.
Among the last words of the resurrected Jesus were, "I will be with you always, to the very end of the age.
"That is serious.
Persecuted believers have testified, "They can take everything away from me except the presence of the living God".
There is an ever growing number of believers in Jesus Christ who are being sorely and severely persecuted for their faith, all around the world in these present days.
Perhaps there has never been a greater number of persecuted Christians than there is today.
One man was honest enough to admit that he regarded the promised presence of Jesus as something of a threat!God sees us when we may be doing something or going somewhere and we would want to keep it secretly hidden.
There is nowhere for a man to escape or hide.
God sees what we do when we might prefer that He looked away.
God hears what we say when we might wish He had not heard these words.
God is aware of where we go, when we might rather He didn't see.
The promise does have two sides to it.
Jesus promises to be with those who are his to the end of the age, which raises another massive issue.
This age is going to end.
Climate change, global warming, and similar catastrophic warnings are frequently headlined, and man does have a responsibility to care for creation, but God has said that this age will come to an end, and the earth will perish.
It will wear out like a garment.
Three times we are told that this old world will come to an end and it will just be like discarding an old jacket.
Then, there will be a new heaven and a new earth.
How all this will happen I do not know, but this I do know - it will work out exactly as God has explained in His Word.
Every aspect of The Word of God will be fulfilled according to the perfect Will of our Creator, and for the believing disciple the best is always yet to be.
That is exciting and inspiring and motivational.
One day this thinning threadbare 'coat' will be discarded and exchanged for a new one.
