Love Gift

There is a saying that goes, "Love makes the world go round.
" I cannot disagree with that, for I believe there is a staunch truth to this statement.
I cannot even begin to imagine what the world would be like it love is not in the air.
A careful analysis into the core of World War I revealed an astonishing truth: that absence of love, that is apathy, was the ultimate reason why the war erupted.
Apathy, in the case of some of the strong countries surrounding the advent of Adolf Hitler in his acts of genocide against the Jews, resulted in history's worst crime claiming over six million lives.
Had some of those countries moved and placed justice and equality on top of one's comfort zone, there would have been no massive killing such as what happened.
The United States as well as other strong contenders could have stood in the gap and fought for life and love to remain, and not passively allow Hitler to annihilate the Jews.
In essence, the gift that love brings is life and if love is taken out of the picture, war and death may prevail.
On a micro scale, such as in families, love may truly be the greatest gift that can be given to all members of the family.
All members, including the little ones that seemingly just laze off on one corner are entitled to this powerful that force.
As a matter of fact, baby's need as much love as adults would.
Here are some practical ways to show to babies that they are cherished and loved as much as the rest of the family member, even without their conscious understanding.
1.
Conversation - While babies cannot respond in parallel terms to verbal conversation, it does not mean that they cannot understand any verbal communication.
They may not be able to respond in the same manner, but babies have intact sensory connections to the higher brain centers that make them like a sponge capable of absorbing as many information as possible.
2.
Hug - An adage once said, "Love is not love until it is expressed.
" One of the measurements of love towards someone is physical contact.
For babies, hugs and kisses matter more than initially thought.
There is even a therapeutic implication for every skin contact that parents have on babies.
3.
Breastfeeding - There is no direct physical connection between a mother and the baby after birth other than breastfeeding.
It is a magical moment for both of them that establishes a relationship that is built to endure throughout a lifetime.
