How to Move a Dish Satellite Cable to a Different TV

    • 1). Turn off your Dish receiver and your old TV set.

    • 2). Remove the connection cable from the input panel on the old TV that is connected to the Dish receiver.

    • 3). Remove the coaxial cable from the "Satellite In" port on the rear of the Dish network receiver. Remove the Dish receiver from the old TV and position it next to the new TV.

    • 4). Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the RF jack associated with your home's TV wiring. Attach the other end to the "Satellite In" port on the rear of the Dish receiver.

    • 5). Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the "HDMI" port on the Dish receiver and insert the other end into the "HDMI In" port on the new TV.
