- Some Koins are harder to find than others, but if you know where to look and how to cheat the system, you'll soon have an overabundance of even the rarest currency. For an unlimited supply of Platinum Koins, speak to the elderly man in Edenia, located at E-8 on your map. He will offer you 500 Platinum Koins to find a necklace for him. Head to G-1 on your map and grab the necklace, then return to the man. Because of a glitch, you can repeat this simple quest as many times as you wish and keep getting rewarded.
Another glitch is with Movado in the Realm of Order. He will give you Sapphire Koins each time you speak to him. He never runs out and you never need to stop asking him for more.
You also can enter the game's option menu and set the Puzzle Kombat difficulty to Novice. Then set the CPU difficulty of the main game to Max. Exit the menu and engage in a round of Puzzle Fighter. You'll easily beat your opponent and your reward will be Platinum and Onyx Koins, which are the rarest in the game and typically awarded only on the highest difficulty setting. - When you visit the bonus area of "Mortal Kombat: Deception," or the Krypt, you will notice several rows of Koffins labeled with two letters, from AA to TT. You can spend a great deal of time and money unlocking all 400 Koffins, or you can already know where to look. You can unlock Kitana's bodyguard, Jade, by opening Koffin OI with 2,417 Jade Koins. The hybrid Noob-Smoke is found in Koffin DM for 3,642 Onyx Koins, while the classic Living Forest is located in Koffin DS for 1.694 Sapphire Koins. See Resources for a full list of Krypt content.
