How to Replace T-Mobile Dash Screen Directions

    • 1). Turn off your T-Mobile Dash. Remove the battery panel and the battery from the handset. Use the plastic prying tool to remove the rubber feet from the top two corners of the handset.

    • 2). Unscrew the six exposed screws along the top, sides and bottom of the back of the handset that hold the chassis together. Insert the plastic prying tool along the edges of the handset to pry separate the rear cover from the front cover. Set aside both the rear and front cover.

    • 3). Lift the latch on the ribbon connector to the LCD wire and gently pull the ribbon cable from the connector to the motherboard. Remove the old LCD screen from the chassis. Place the replacement LCD screen's ribbon cable in the ribbon connector and close the ribbon connector to secure it. Lay the replacement LCD screen into the chassis so that the LCD screen is visible through the front cover.

    • 4). Replace the rear cover back on the front cover, making sure that all of the wiring is inside the handset. Replace the six screws that you removed from the back of the handset and pop the two rubber feet back into the whole over the two screws located at the top of the rear cover. Replace the battery and battery panel.
