How to Transfer Software to My Cell Phone

    • 1). Connect your phone to the PC using the USB cable. Plug the cable into the bottom of your phone and then connect the other end to your USB port. The PC will automatically detect the microSD card of your phone. Nowadays, a 512MB external memory can come for free with a phone purchase.

    • 2). Locate the software that you want to transfer to your phone on your computer. Right-click on your mouse and choose "Copy."

    • 3). Go to the "Start" menu and go to "Computer," and under "Removable Drives," open the drive assigned by your PC to your microSD card, go to a specific folder (e.g. "Others" folder for games), right-click and select "Paste."

    • 4). Disconnect the phone from your personal computer. Access the software that you have just transferred to your phone by going to your phone's main menu"and selecting the folder that you placed it in on your microSD Card.
