What to Use for Mole Deterrent Bait

In case you have a serious mole infestation in your property and are considering utilizing mole traps, the best option for bait is one that closely mimics the favorite part of their diet - earthworms.
A well known product doing the rounds in the market is called Talpirid.
This brand of mole bait is scientifically proven to be effective in eliminating mole problems that they allegedly can eradicate these creatures in a day.
Moles apparently react to the bait as if it was a real earthworm and this response has been the turning point for them to be deemed as the most effective mole bait in the market.
The Talpirid "worms" are engineered to have the same composition of earthworms in terms of physical appearance, except for its fatal ingredient known as bromethalin.
Talpirid use also has its restrictions as a mole trap bait.
It should not be used above ground but should be directed toward their burrowed tunnels beneath the ground surface.
When in use, one should also be reminded that these should not come in contact with areas where you grow crops because of its poisonous content.
They would be best situated in badly infested lawns, gardens and golf courses.
Another mole bait that has been gaining recognition is the gel type of bait.
The gel material is injected into a mole tunnel that has been freshly dug.
The Kaput Mole Gel Bait's main composition is warfarin in flavored gel form, which attracts and subsequently eliminates the mole population in the treated area.
Although primarily marketed as a pesticide for the pesky rodents, warfarin is an anticoagulant and is widely used by humans for medicinal purposes.
An antidote in the form of Vitamin K is also part of the formula, just in case it gets in contact with the skin or is accidentally handled by the ever playful kid in your front lawn.
This is allegedly a first of its kind - a gel poison as mole bait.
As an alternative to the above mentioned mole baits, you can use what is called a mole deterrent, which doesn't ever actually come into contact with the moles but does help keep them away.
They do this by using sound through the dirt that the moles don't like.
So for those having to deal with such a problem, the above mentioned two options could just be the right product for you.
