Real workouts to get you in shape have to include intensity and kettlebells! Thats right my friend, I said kettlebells! In order to propel your workouts you have got to implement the hard hitting dynamic of kettlebell training into your own workouts.
Check out the following 2 exercises that I have included here to help you get started off on the right track immediately! 1.
The Overhead Swing: This particular exercise is performed by you having a single bell of moderate resistance.
To properly execute this particular kettlebell lift you must have an understanding of how to execute the base strength endurance lift of the kettlebell which is known as the swing.
To begin, you will want to pick the bell up with both arms.
Stand up with your hips and knees locked out and allow the bell to hang at your groin.
The next step is very important.
In order to swing the bell from between your legs up to any reasonable height (at least chest level to start) you must initiate a movement which is known as the hip snap.
This is done by you having to forcefully flex and extend at both your hips and knees in a constant smooth motion.
As you do this you will create the necessary force you need to swing the bell between your legs and get it to at least chest level to start.
Now to execute this particular lift you have to work on intensifying your swings to steadily build more and more momentum to eventually bring the bell all the way up to above your head.
2.
The Kettlebell Thruster: This particular lift can be performed with either a single bell or a pair.
To execute this lift you will want to properly clean and rack the bell or bells at your chest.
Next, make sure that you execute a front squat while maintaining the balance and position of the bell or bells at your chest.
Lower yourself into the squat and when you come out of it make sure to lock out at both your hips and knees.
Once you reach the lock out position simply press the bell or bells overhead.
Lower the bells back to the rack position to start the process all over again.
This is a real muscle and fitness training workout to significantly propel your fitness and strength program.
