Wind Powers Most Of My House

So here I am with my eight year old Son, who by the way is smarter than a fifth grader and me too for that matter, putting the finishing touches on my brand new home wind power system.
Yep, I'm going Green.
"Ok Dad, so the wind powers the blades, right? Yep, that's right son..
...
"and the blades power the generator that makes the electricity, right?" "Right again Son, this is clean free energy that we never have to pay for.
Wind energy power is the wave of the future Son.
Unlike Fossil fuels or God forbid nuclear energy the advantages of wind power are numerous indeed"..
...
trying to make this a teaching moment for the next generation.
"Ok dad pretty cool" he says.
"Dad, where does the wind come from?" Trying to remember what I learned in my High School science class I explain to my son that the wind comes from the various weather patterns, warm fronts, cold fronts, low pressure, high pressure even remembered something called isobars.
"Yep Son, the wind comes from the weather" I finally surmised.
"Wow, that's great Dad.
Where does the weather come from? "Let's go see what Mom has for dinner" since I didn't have an answer at the time.
Went to my computer while washing up for dinner and got this simple answer for the weather question..
..
'Weather is caused by the uneven heating of the planet by the sun.
' So anyway during dinner I tell my Son that the weather is caused by the uneven heating of the planet by the sun.
He quietly ponders this as I'm feeling pretty good about myself in my flawless fatherly duties in instructing my Son in the ways of the world and could also tell that I made points with the wife as well when my Son asks "Where does the sun get its power?" Did not have to go to the computer on this one.
"The sun gets its power from nuclear energy.
An ongoing fusion process deep inside its core.
" "Ok dad I get it".
After a few moments of silence my Son said to my wife..
"Mom, did you know Dad just put a nuclear powered generator on top of the house?" Wow didn't see that one coming, but technically he was right! In fact the more I thought about and after doing a little research, all wind power on this planet is nuclear.
All solar power too.
All fossil fuels are nuclear by default.
(Since fossil fuels are all decomposed fossilized plant life and plants derive their stored energy through the Sun (photosynthesis) ).
Any and all derivatives from plants such as alcohol and oils for the same reason.
Hydrogen cell power.
(Hydrogen was formed during the initial big bang...
totally nuclear).
Geo thermal..
..
for basically the same reason.
Hydro..
..
...
Hydrogen again...
big bang...
nuclear.
The only true basic natural energy source on this planet has been and always will be Nuclear.
From the wind power mills to the Grand Coulee Dam, from the Gas you put in your car to your solar powered watch, it's all Nuclear.
Now doesn't that give you a warm glowing feeling! Wind powers My House
