- 1). Turn off computer, monitor and unplug power cords for both.
- 2). Take a treated cotton swab and wipe it between the spaces in and around all the keys on the keyboard. Do this repeatedly using several cotton swabs until the keyboard is residue free.
- 3). Use the compressed air and nozzle to remove any leftover particles and debris you cannot pick up with the cotton swabs. Use short bursts of air for the most effective cleaning.
- 4). Use an antibacterial wipe to clean the mouse on the top and the bottom.
- 5). Gently remove dust from the LCD Screen with a treated lint-free cloth. Do not to touch the screen to avoid getting oil from your fingers on the screen.
- 6). Use a treated cloth to thoroughly wipe the outside of your computer CPU case. Use the compressed air to remove any dust that may block the external USB and other ports, as well as any dust that may block the computer fan heat exhaust vents.
