Weight Training Theory

With more people working out than ever before, there are more "experts" that are ready and willing to offer advice.
Some of these experts actually know what they are talking about, while others just like to hear themselves talk and will prey on anyone who will listen.
The first thing you need to know about bulking up is that everyone does it differently.
Everyone's body is unique and responds differently to a workout program or even an individual exercise.
Finding the right person to offer you advice that will help you is the only chance you have of gaining weight and building muscle.
Some people have an easier time bulking up than others do.
The people who struggle to gain weight are often called hardgainers.
Their muscles take a long time to heal and recover after a training session and they need extra time to rest in between workouts.
Almost all hardgainers do not follow a routine that will help them.
By following a routine for someone with a different body type, they are actually weakening their muscles by overworking them and giving themselves hardly any chance to build muscle.
When looking for the right workout routine, hardgainers need to make sure they find one that is designed for their specific body type.
It should allow extra time for the muscles to rest and recover and each workout should not be too long as to overtrain the muscle.
An idea workout for a hardgainer will call for 3 to 4 hours in the weight room each week.
These hour-long sessions will trigger serious muscle growth while still giving the muscles the time they need to heal in between each lift.
Alternating workout days and days of rest will ensure the muscles are healing and growing each week.
